Spring on the Lake in Little Elm

Ahh! Spring is arriving! You can feel it in the air. Slowly trees, plants and flowers are budding and the green grass is coming up all over! (ugh… and the weeds).
It’s a beautiful time to sit by the lake and enjoy the water reflecting the blue sky. Get out and start visiting the so many new places in Little Elm!
There is so much going on! The parks are vibrant and the smell in the air says “take your coat off! You don’t need it anymore”. Well, at least most days!

Easter is coming and let’s see if this spring weather holds out!

Living Life By the Lake

Living in a city that is dominated by a lake has its charm. The people are a bit more laid back than your usual folk that deal with only pavement. It’s a mindset, a way of being, and a cultural thing.

Fall came and the trees and the lake agreed it was time to change the picture.

By adding and subtracting color the general scenery changed and with it the whole feeling in the air. As if someone had written in the sky amongst the clouds, “Gather your winter jackets and come sit around the bond fire, look at the clouds reflecting in the lake, look at the people.

A natural state of mind and being has set in and despite the suggestion of the holidays by the strong invading commerce influence in any stores today, here the holidays are setting in by the scenery of nature itself.

A quiet and subtle way of saying; “it’s winter”. Get your jacket on, come and let’s go for a stroll by the lake.
